Magic truffles are already legally available worldwide. Those are some beautiful words, right? Magic truffles are now available worldwide!

How is that possible?

This is what I will explain in this post:
– In this post I will explain to you the difference between magic mushrooms and magic truffles
– I’m gonna give you clear facts and sources that back up the legality of the truffles
– And finally I will show you how to get your own legal magic truffles

But first the disclaimer:

So what are psilocybin truffles?

Psilocybin truffles (also known as magic truffles) are basically balls of mycelium that grow underground. Mushrooms grow above the surface and truffles underneath the surface due to certain circumstances. Now the whole thing about truffles what makes them safer then mushrooms is that they are less potent then mushrooms. If you eat 5 grams of dried magic mushrooms (#Terence Mckenna 5G challenge) then you will experience an heroic dose. Which is very unlikely to happen on truffles. When you eat lets say 15 grams of truffles, you will have a strong trip but it won’t take you as deep as psilocybin mushrooms can take you.

The truffles give the exact same effects as magic mushrooms but it is unlikely to have visions and to come in contact with entities. But please note that you shouldn’t underestimate the truffles, they can be a real challenge for your ego.

So how are Psilocybin Truffles legal worldwide?

Now we move on to the second part of the post. I will explain why they are legal. Psilocybin truffles are legally available across the entire world. I will start with why they are legal in Europe, then I’ll explain why they are legal worldwide.

There is only one law in the world that says something about psilocybin truffles. That is in the Netherlands. And it isn’t even a law actually.

It is a statement in a tax list.

It says “magic truffles fall in the category “genotsmiddelen” (luxury foods), which is in the same category as chocolate, energy drinks and coffee”.

What are ”genotsmiddelen”? The website is in Dutch, you can translate it if you like.

Europe has a single market, which means that if a product is considered legal in one country then it will be considered legal in all of the European country’s. You can transport alcohol, coffee, energydrinks across from one European country to another European country. So truffles can also be traded across European country’s legally just like coffee. Thats the whole point of a single market.

Now your mind probably goes to the question ”But isn’t cannabis legal in Holland? Why isn’t it legal in all the other EU country’s then?” Well cannabis actually isn’t legal in Holland, it is ”gedoogd”. ”Gedoogd” means not being prosecuted for an illegal action that was made. If cannabis would have been legalized by law in Holland. Then it would become hard for instance for Germany to prosecute people who use cannabis when their neighbour country has a legal trade going on! Luckily for everyone psilocybin/magic truffles are legalized in Holland, so they are also legal for the rest of Europe to use, thanks to the European single market.

I also found this.  flow state worldwide inc is a California based corporation that has announced a partnership with fresh mushrooms LTD, which is the oldest producer of psilocybin truffles in Europe, a dutch company. So everyone in Europe is safe to buy Psilocybin Truffles. How about the rest of the world?

To explain this, You first have to understand some information about magic mushrooms.

In 1971 the UN illegalized psilocybin for 71 country’s.  the whole point of this convention was to make certain psychoactive substances illegal in every country participating in the United Nation. Two of those substances where psilocybin and psilocyn, which are some of the active compounds in magic mushrooms as you might know.

So to summary, psilocybin was made illegal in 1971 for 71 country’s.

But the UK banned magic mushrooms in 2005, Holland banned them in 2008. In Austria, India, Brazil, Jamaica, Portugal and some other country’s, the fresh mushrooms are still legal (source showing the legal status of psilocybin mushrooms). But all these country’s participated in the UN 1971 ban of psilocybin. How is it possible to illegalize the same thing twice?

Here’s the thing, that isn’t possible.

Only the pure substance psilocybin became illegal. Magic mushrooms where never illegal for most country’s. Propeganda made it look like the 1971 psilocybin ban also included magic mushrooms. But it didn’t. They where still being traded across the entire world!

In this link you can see that all country’s that participated in the 1971 psilocybin ban have different laws about psilocybin mushrooms.

They couldn’t illegalize magic mushrooms for two reasons.

1. Because of the religious and ceremonial purposes people used them for. The law “freedom of religion” exist, this makes it incredibly tricky to illegalize the mushrooms for the government.

2. Also it is very hard to illegalize something that naturaly grows in nature. If there would grow psilocybin mushrooms on your property, then you would be disobeying the law.

But in many country’s they illegalized the shrooms anyway even though it was so hard to do that because it would compete against other laws. Which is unfortunate…

Here’s the thing

If there has to be a separate specific law to make psilocybin mushrooms illegal and there must also be a specific law that makes the substance psilocybin itself illegal. Then there must be a law that exactly says that sclerotia (psilocybin truffles) are illegal to make them truly illegal.

Because, you see, the law has to be really specific.

The law has to be developed in such a way that anybody with a little sense can understand it. You get to read the specific laws you live by to prevent confusion among the civilians. So if there is no specific law that says that psilocybin truffles are part of the psilocybin mushroom group, then they can’t be illegal.

This source says “A few jurisdictions (such as the US states of Georgia and Idaho) have specifically prohibited the sale and possession of psilocybin mushroom spores.” The spores themselves don’t contain psilocybin, but you can see how specific laws need to be in order for them to exist.

Another great example to prove my point is the populair spice nutmeg. Nutmeg contains the highly illegal substance “safrole” which is used to create MDMA (ecstasy). But nutmeg can be bought all over the world in the supermarket.

The exact same thing goes for magic truffles.

Nutmeg and magic truffles both contain illegal substances, yet there is no law about the nutmeg and the truffles saying they are illegal. Therefore they are legal. Even though they contain illegal substances.

The United states

The United States are a little tricky though. I couldn’t find a specific law that says psilocybin mushrooms are illegal. But still everywhere on the internet it says that psilocybin mushrooms are illegal in America. So I thought it might be interesting to hear what an American attorney has to say about it.



This attorney answered with the expected answer “the truffles are a part of the psilocybin mushroom group” therefore they are illegal.

But there is no law that says that psilocybin truffles are part of the magic mushroom family. So the attorney cannot prove his point. Because there is no law or source he could use. He ignored me when I asked about his sources, so I guess his silence said more then a 1000 words.

Now I actually have two more things to show you about this subject.

1. The DEA Lies to the people about psilocybin.

This is the official website of the DEA. If you look closely you see the subtitle “how does it affect the body” then the bottom point says “overdose may result in death”. If the American government can give me one example of an individual dying because of the substance itself. And I mean from only consuming the substance. Then I will literally eat my cat in front of the camera and put it on YouTube.

2. Have you ever heard of reefer madness?

I’m drifting off the topic, my apologies. 😉

America seems to decide individually per state how to proceed about mushrooms. In this case the court said that psilocybin mushrooms are not illegal. Only the psilocybin substance itself is illegal. So I guess sometimes your fine and sometimes not. It really depends which state you come from in America. Note that this case is about psilocybin mushrooms. Psilocybin truffles don’t exist by law so I think its safe to say that if your country (including America) doesn’t have a law about Sclerotia (psilocybin truffles) they are legal.

So whats the hard proof that Magic Truffles are legal worldwide?

There is no law that says the truffles are illegal, and the argument that it contains the illegal substance psilocybin is irrelevant. Just like nutmeg, the truffles are totally legal. Nutmeg and truffles are equal by law because there is no law about them.

Also, the way we live is the hard proof.

The webshop Thortruffles ships all of their products across the world and they still exist. They are a legal Dutch business selling legal products. And if magic truffles would really have been illegal then the company would not still exist right now. Shipping psilocybin containing truffles across the world.

The owner of Thortruffles said that customs confiscated a shipment one time. So she showed me this:

This is the response letter from the EU commission court on a complaint the webshop “Thortruffles” sended to the commission.

A shipment got taken by the UK customs and thus Thortruffles wanted to know why. The commission answers the following:

”From the information provided, however, the Commission services have not been able to identify any legislation in the United Kingdom, Poland or other Member States, which could explain why the relevant authorities decided to take such action described in the complaint.”

So basically they took the shipment without any law that said the content of the shipment is illegal.

Thortruffles got mugged by the government. Weird right?

The case is now taken by Solvit, SOLVIT is an EU network of national administrations that resolves cross-border problems related to the EU’s Single Market.
